Garlock Gland Packing 1200PBI Style 1200-PBI is manufactured from an Inconel wire-reinforced jacket of PBI yarn over an extruded asbestos-free core. The PBI yarns completely encapsulate the wire, eliminating concerns of stem scoring. Also featured is tungsten disulfide, a solid form lubricant which is non-corrosive to stuffing boxes. 1200-PBI offers many advantages such as excellent abrasion resistance, dimensional stability at high temperatures and excellent resistance to most solvents and chemicals. Temperature: Steam: to +1200 Deg. F (+650 C) ; Atmosphere: +850 Deg. F (+455 Deg. C) pH: 1-12 Pressure: To 2500 psi plus* (170 bar) *Functionally tested to 4200 psi at 1050 Deg.
